So relaxing. A perfect way to celebrate Jeza's 32nd and my completing of my first teaching term. We had pizza for dinner, a spa for dessert and a nice bottle of red. A bitter-sweet stay. Loving every moment, yet the thought of real life lurking in the background. Yet, real-life feels miles away. That's the beauty of this place. Hope to return and stay more than one night next time. Thank you so much Gaynor and David for providing us with such a luxurious, relaxing and romantic stay. 20 out of 10!! It's that good.

Seldom are we idle and a visit to this part of the country was just what we needed. I think we are "tanked up" on the rest and relaxation - just in time for the chaotic months to come. Loved the delicious home cooked meals, the spa by candlelight and very comfortable bed, and waking up to birdsong. Highly recommend the property walks, star gazing and checking out the nearby beaches. And we especially appreciated Gaynor and David's gracious hospitality. Thanks for a lovely time. In 29 years of marriage, we agree it's one of our favourite times away as a couple.

A rare piece of paradise nestled amongst the trees. Your warmth and engaging manner is refreshing in a somewhat saturated market of mediocre hosts and establishments. If we ever get back this way again, we'll certainly stay here again.
4. We haven't been to Albany for 30 years, Albany and the beaches were beautiful. The accommodation was in a good walking spot to the main centre, the accommodation was a bit small for 4 adults but it was lovely. May 2016
5. Our stay at The Wardroom was wonderful. More than just a cottage hidden away in bushland with incredible views. Close to the ocean, tracks leading through wildflowers, an abundance of bird life and much more. Kind hosts who delivered a hot home cooked meal on a blustery night. Our July visit was short but left us wanting more of the peace and tranquility and the desire to return another time. Thank you Gaynor and David.
6. Our stay at The Wardroom met all of our expectations and more. Set in bush land but we had incredible views. We had the front Veranda with wonderful breeze or the back veranda which was sheltered and cozy. This cottage had absolutely everything that anyone could possibly need for a great holiday. Wonderful location, close to the beach and the Bibbulmun Track. Absolutely loved our stay here, would be tempted to return to the Wardroom but would also love to try one of the other cottages too. Decisions, decisions. Thank you Gaynor and David for such an amazing place that lends itself so well, to being able to chill out, relax and come away feeling that you've had that break you needed.
7. We had an absolutely terrific time staying at King’s Den! Not only was our accommodation luxurious, but the cottage’s ‘bush setting’ was simply breathtaking! You ask if we have ‘ any suggestions’ for you - absolutely not! - with wonderful accommodation, delicious meals delivered to our door and efficient, congenial hosts, we couldn’t recommend staying at one of the Cape Howe Cottages highly enough!
8. One year later and we made it back to Cape Howe Cottages. This time we stayed in THE KINGS DEN. I must admit I wasn't that impressed by the look of the outside because I love that cottage feel, but the inside won me over!!!!! A great place for couples to get away and relax. John enjoyed the outdoor shower every morning with hot and cold water while I stuck to the comforts of the inside, maybe next time. Everything was so spacious and clean & well supplied and equipped for the 8 nights we spent there. We were self catering so breakfasts & lunches on the front porch/decking or packed lunches out on the Bibbulmun Track. Evening meals relaxing watching a movie & I certainly had no difficulty operating the Oven, cook top or microwave. I'm not sure whether it was because we were so exhausted that we seemed to sleep better and longer than if we were at home. Or maybe it was the lack of noise, the wonderful silence - except for the sound of the birds in the morning and late evening. No building or street lights to keep us awake, but a darkness that just seemed to envelope the surrounding area and the cottage itself. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer, we felt that good!!!! Highly recomended.
9. If you haven't stayed at Cape Howe Cottages, then your missing out on a great place to take a holiday away to get away from the Rat Race! Honestly these cottages are just amazing. Due to circumstances we left booking holidays a bit late & did look around for something different in another location. Somehow we just couldn't find anywhere that measured up to our previous experience but I'm sure there are plenty of other amazing cottages out there. So we found ourselves back at Cape Howe. Since we've been a few times now it felt like coming home. Everything so spacious and clean, wonderful hosts, beautiful wild flowers in and around the grounds. We were delighted this time to sit out for breakfast on the veranda and hear the chorus of birds singing and flitting in and out of the foliage as if we weren't even there. The beach, just a 5 min drive is beautiful, lovely rock formation, places to fish or just swim, sunbathe on the lovely white sand. Checked out some easy 4 wheel drive tracks and a trip to Albany and also the Porongarups. Wishing I was back there. Amazing holiday. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed. Thank you David and Gaynor!!!!
